Diego Laynez one of the original 6 Jesuit founders was a 3rd generation Jewish converso and became the 2nd Superior General after Loyola’s death. This favourable attitude toward conversos continued until the 5th Superior General put an end to it in 1593. The decision to allow Jesuit inductees from distant Jewish ancestry back into the Jesuit order was only changed in 1946, 353 years later!

LaVerne – isn’t it funny – that Scull and Bones symbolism caught my attention too and made me wondering…
Why that young man chose to carry that flag with him – certainly an individual decision to express his way of thinking – and the original, down to earth metaphysical meaning of life & death comes to mind… the deeper thoughts of a philosophical and spiritual nature… The German people were once known as a ‘people of poets and thinkers’…
We know that ancient symbols and heraldry are being stolen, co-opted by the EVIL forces, the positive meaning often subverted into something negative and destructive…
Another example for misused symbolism is the rainbow… originally the biblical and positive symbol for the Covenant between the Creator-God and humanity, all of creation – a symbol of love, pure and untainted…
The people taking part in these patriotic protestations are more aware of what is really going on in the world than the average… There are organizers who determine what the demonstrations are all about – the writings on the huge banners carried up front, the slogans shouted are agreed upon – but to a large extent it seems to be self-regulatory – i.e. each individual decides for himself/herself and is responsible for his/her own actions – self-determination, self-responsibility is one the demands…
I have seen attempts to co-opt the movement: single red flags showing pentagrams – and the fake ‘Israel’ flag showing the hexagram… ‘occult’ (hidden) symbolism with Satanic meaning

The Scull – as symbol for the knowledge of spiritual immortality…
I’d like to share a personal spiritual experience I had as a child shortly after my father’s death.
At the time and in the small village our family lived in – it was customs to keep the deceased at home for three days and nights – in an open coffin
Strangely enough I was not at all afraid to visit my father lying there, in the open coffin – it was in the afternoon and I was on my own, I even closed the door of his study behind me – standing for some time right in front of him, just looking at him – I must have looked really worried.
And the following night I had a very vivid dream. I dreamt that I stood again before that door, opened it, went in and was STUNNED, I saw something very beautiful: the whole room was filled with LIGHT – I looked at my father’s face, my eyes met his opened eyes, he was looking straight back at me, beaming with joy all over his face – a kind of serenity I had never seen on him when alive – but wait – I thought: He IS alive! He is NOT dead! Around his head there were children standing, all dressed in white, they were LIGHT, shining white LIGHT… and he ‘talked’ to me – I ‘heard’ him in my head saying:”Don’t worry. I’m fine.”
And after that I left the room.
In the morning I remembered the dream very vividly, so as if all of this had really happened – and I got a bit afraid, but talked to nobody about the dream – the funeral was unreal: I kept thinking by nyself: “He is NOT dead… I have SEEN him…”, and I was never worried about him again. I remember him saying: “Don’t worry. I’m fine.”
I have never had any doubts that our spirit, our soul is immortal.
I was reminded of that positive childhood experience and that inner knowledge when I saw the Scull&Bones ☠️ flag…
